The Chief Executive Officer of Delta Mega-Trend, Prince Sam Ogrih

The Chief Executive Officer of Delta Mega-Trend, Prince Sam Ogrih, has been conferred with the Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna Sokoto Platinum Leadership Award by the Northern Youth Council (NYC).

He was also inducted into the Northern Youth Council Hall of Fame as the   Garkuwan Matassan Arewa – Shield of the Youths.

The award was presented to Prince Ogrih during a courtesy visit by the association’s leadership, led by the Vice President, Hon. Haruna Kwanem, who represented the President, Dr Isah Abubakar.

Kwanem who lauded his contribution to jobs and wealth creation in Nigeria stated: “The award is in recognition of your immense contributions towards purposeful leadership and youth empowerment.”

He also noted that “with the growing number of unemployed young people across Nigeria, your mission of creating wealth for the country’s young people is quite commendable.”

Ogrih, who led the group on a tour of the Plantation City in Warri, Delta State, told the visiting delegation that “my vision is to build the largest gated community in Africa, and I believe in the inherent capacity of our young people to help in the actualization of this vision.”

Speaking on the company’s early beginning, Ogrih said: “Delta Mega-Trend which does real estate development and civil engineering works started in 2009 to bridge the housing and infrastructure deficit in the country.

“With offices in Delta, Lagos, Abuja and Houston-Texas, the company has gained a reputation for blending excellence and profitability for discerning real estate investors,” he noted.
