The president of Nigerian Institute of Surveyors (NIS) Akinloye Oyegbola has called on surveyors to be more positive, proactive and resourceful in their activities at this time of serious economic challenges facing the country.
Oyegbola also enjoined surveyors to work positively to make the society better in line with the change mantra of the federal government.
He made this call at the 34th Annual Olumide Memorial Lectures held in Abuja with the theme “Justice, Law and Society.”
He said, “The institute and the profession as well should be creating bigger values in service delivery. Surveyors all over the nation should strive hard to make a household name for themselves as they live by the maxim of the profession.
“Our leadership value must always manifest in the way we relate with our clients and in terms of the quality of our services.’’
The NIS president further urged surveyors to create the right synergies to advance the course of the profession.
