Reprieve came the way of the people of   Abba in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State  as a company attached to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Wachovia Global Ventures Limited, commenced  the construction of a gully erosion site and badly damaged portion of an ancestral road in the community.

At the flag off ceremony of the work, Chairman of the company, Engr. Johnbosco Ozigbu, said the reconstruction and repair of the gully erosion site had become expedient.

Engr. Ozigbu, who said engineers and equipment had been mobilised to the site, added that the effect of the erosion and the state of the abandoned road had made commuters go through longer routes.
