The Police Command in Kano State has recovered a stolen Toyota Sienna vehicle, valued at N20 million, and handed it over to its rightful owner, Mr. Ali Alti.
The vehicle was stolen in Maiduguri on January 5, 2026.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, CSP Abdullahi Kiyawa, in Kano on Sunday. Kiyawa said the vehicle was recovered by police officers on January 7, following intelligence-led patrols.
He explained that four suspects are currently under investigation in connection with the theft.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Bakori, directed the handover after verifying Alti’s proof of ownership.
The police command commended its officers for their diligence and appreciated the public’s continued support in combating crime. (NAN)
