Captain Kalu made the appeal during the annual conference of women in aviation held in Zaria.
The rector assured that ‘Young ladies aviation club’ will soon be established in secondary schools to motivate them to go into the industry in future, according to official statement from the office of the Kaduna State governor.
Earlier, the president of  Women in Aviation in Nigeria, Rejoice Ndudinachi, stated that 10 aviation clubs have been established in Nigerian school.
The objective of the group, she said, was to promote participation of women in aviation education and to transform corporate and media perceptions of women.
Also in her remark, the wife of Kaduna State Governor, Fatima Yero commended women in aviation while she called on women to work towards ensuring that peace is maintained in the country.
