The Acting Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi State, Dr. David Danjuma Baba, has warned lecturers of the institution against exploiting students under any guise. Baba who gave the warning during the 31st matriculation ceremony of the polytechnic, told the lecturers that sale of handouts and compulsory purchase of text books would not be tolerated.
The acting rector warned staff of the polytechnic against lateness and truancy, maintaining anyone caught in any act of indiscipline would be appropriately dealt with.
He charged the matriculated students to be concerned about their studies and report to the authority, anything detrimental to their academic pursuit.
