REDAN gets new exco

In the elections held on Tuesday in Abuja, Reverend Ugochukwu Chime, a Land Surveyor emerged National Executive President of the real estate developers association, the umbrella body for all developers in the country.  
Alhaji  Aliyu Oroji Wamakko emerged Deputy National President while Barrister Akintoye  Adeoye emerged National General Secretary.
Other elected members include: Princess Chinwe Nnabuife Assistant National General Secretary; Dr. Peter Umanah National Treasurer; Mrs. Medinah  Hutehman National Financial Secretary; Barrister Salima Makama National Legal Adviser.
The election also witnessed the emergence of Mallam Garba Aliyu Hungu as Vice President North West; Engineer M. B. G. Bunu Vice President North East; Mr. Sunday Idachaba Vice President North Central; Mr. Taiwo  Ogunbodede Vice President  South  West; Architect Munachiso Okorocha Vice President  South East;  Dr. Ifenna Chukwujekwu  Vice President South- South; Alhaji Suleiman Abubakar  Ex-officio Member I;  Engineer Uba Mshelia National Auditor I; and Mr. Godwin Okorie Ajah National Auditor II.
Immediate past president of REDAN Chief Olabode Afolayan who ran the affairs of the association on two tenures of three years each formally handed over affairs to Reverend Ugochukwu  Chime at a brief ceremony held at the Abuja head office  of the association on Tuesday.
REDAN established in 2002 is an umbrella body of private developers to promote and encourage the development of affordable housing estates in a bid to increase the stock of housing units for all classes of Nigerians.
