Life is full of ups and downs which eventually drive man into faith and conviction. Looking at the pros and cons of the universe reveal that certain unique power, unbeatable sovereignty, is also absolutely behind it all. Of course, man is an exceptional being with sound brain and
reasoning system.
Q17 v 70 says: “And indeed We have honoured the children of Adam, and We have carried them on land and sea, and have provided them with At-Tayyibat (lawful good things), and have preferred them to many of those whom We have created with a marked preferment.”
The earliest man on the earth was prophet Adam (A.W), through him man came into existence. Allah says in Q4 v 59: “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the messenger (Muhammad (S.A.W), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority and if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and his messenger (S.A.W) if you believe in Allah and in the last day. that is better and more suitable for final determination.”
    Every great mind must flash back, recollect, and reflect his or her origin and the cause of the existence. What we call (Iman) faith or belief now get knocking our hearts which gave birth to total submissions to the will of Allah that is known by all as God.
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the hereafter he will be one of the losers.
The teachings and principles of Islamic monotheism are as old as man.
    Everything that revolves round Islam is peace. The word Salam means PEACE, peace is repeatedly mentioned in the Holy book of Islam, Alqur’an. Nothing has changed in the way Allah operates, nor in the Holy Qur’an or in the Sunnah of Rosuululah (S.A.W). Islam is an advocate of peace and harmony.
    In a nutshell, people today are religious but not godly. Qur’an remain intact, both the text and the meanings, and nothing can change anything in the holy Qur’an. So Islam remains the most acceptable way of life in the sight of Allah. Q 4 v 85 says: “whosoever intercedes for a good cause will have the reward thereof, and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a share in its burden. And Allah is over all-able to do (and also an all-witness to) everything’. Whatever ideology or principles that goes against peace, harmony and tranquility is NOT Islam. Islam negates killing, destruction, oppression, abductions, wrong impression, wrong perception, distortion of the Qur’anic injunctions and alteration in any form. Islam is all about, peace, justice, equality, brotherhood, neighborhood and those that can foster love, unity and harmony in every given community.
The prophet says: “Islam began like a strange way of life and it will go back to how it began, good abode awaits the strangers.”
     Every part of the country seems volatile now, peace lovers become strangers, truth Sayers are strangers today. People that believe in justice are strangers, calmness obedience to Allah and His apostles in all aspects of life remain strange way of life. We have to stand by what we believe in and remain people of our words. Religions and religionist are two different entities, the two are required to be one, and it has to be one! It must be one! Because Allah, the ever living, is one “Peace a word of salutation from a lord most merciful” in Q36 v 58
    So, therefore, we must remains one, i.e. ONE NIGERIA, love one another, and be just with one another. Islam remain a religion of PEACE, may the peace of almighty Allah be with every one of us, Amin.
