Organised by the Art House – The Space, ‘Transgrexion’ chronicles George Osodi’s prolific photographic career, showcasing iconic photographs that documents the oil crisis in the Niger Delta to the aesthetic images of life in Lagos.
George Osodi is also spotlighting the fascinating beauty, struggle and uniqueness of contemporary Nigerian culture.
Renault said it is offering cash discount and free service packages for three years or 50, 000 kilometres (whichever comes first) for every Renault Duster (SUV) sport utility vehicle purchased during the exhibition. The Renault Duster is priced from N3.6m.
A prolific photographer and author, Geaorge Osodi had in one of his books, ‘Delta Nigeria – The Rape of Paradise’ created awareness for environmental degradation in the Niger Delta – an accomplishment that has distinguished him as a leading international photographer.
Osodi had also in his recent photo series featured some of Nigeria’s monarchs and portraits of traditional fathers including royal leaders across diverse ethnic tribes in their costumes.
‘Transgrexion’ is the first exhibition of its kind supported by a renowned automaker, Renault and it promises to synergize culture with technology and convey French passion for arts.
