The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Creeds Energy, Hannah Kabir has said the firm is contributing to raising the access to renewable energy in the north and across Nigeria.
At a recent media workshop on Decentralised Renewable Energy in Nigeria in Abuja, Hannah in her presentation spoke on what her company is doing in contributing to access to renewable energy.
She said Creeds Energy with a corporate office in Abuja is a renewable energy company dedicated to making clean energy technologies mainstream applications in households, businesses and communities.
“Creeds Energy delivers on mainstreaming renewable energy technologies providing professional services like in-depth feasibility studies and community profiling consultancy on renewable energy, and capacity building,” she said.
The company also provides renewable energy solutions like the installation of solar PV solutions, biomass solutions and energy efficiency retrofits, Hannah explained.
She noted that her team has done over 100 installations, retailed hundreds of solar products while growing the consultancy aspects.
The firm controlled by the young woman partnered with the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), the World Bank Lighting Africa Project, Integration Umwelt & Energie GmbH, GIZ Nigeria Energy Support Programme (NESP), and Heinrich Boll Foundation among others to achieve some of its projects.
Its most recent project, Hannah said is the fabrication of improved bakery ovens in Jigawa, Nasarawa states among others. She said the innovation has helped to combat air pollution and smoke inhalation that comes with the use of fire wood for such ovens, cutting spending and reducing the effect of wood fuel on the ozone layer.
