A renowned Islamic scholar in Kebbi State, Sheikh Isah Kwaifa, is dead.

Sheikh Kwaifa was known in Kebbi State and beyond for his Islamic teachings.

The Islamic scholar who died at the age of 130 years left behind three wives, 28 children and more than 200 grand and great grandchildren.

Hundreds of Muslim faithful, Islamic scholars, traditional rulers, politicians and members of the business community from within and outside the state attended his funeral rites in Birnin Kebbi.
