A member representing Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Mzondu Benjamin, has empowered over 300 women and youths with various business kits to better their lots.
Benjamin at the weekend presented the beneficiaries with business tools such as deep freezers, sewing machines, grinding machines and laptops as part of his women and youth empowerment programme.
The lawmaker said that each of the beneficiaries drawn from all the council wards of Makurdi and Guma local government areas which he represents at the green chamber, were expected to use the tools to improve their livelihoods.
Wife of the Benue State governor, Dr. Eunice Ortom, applauded the federal lawmaker for providing his people with quality representation at the National Assembly, stressing that she was proud of him.
