The member representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency in Kano State, Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, has met President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, behind closed door at the State House.

This is the second time the House of Representatives member visited the President behind closed door in less than two weeks.

It was learnt that the meeting was held on Sunday night and lasted almost two hours.

Although the lawmaker did not reveal the content of the meeting, inside sources said it might not be unconnected to the relationship between former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso and the President and the increasing anti APC sentiments in the north.

Asked about the purpose of the second meeting by the State House reporters, the lawmaker declined to comment further.

Ten days earlier when he visited, Jibrin told the reporters that he discussed “issues of national development” with the President.
