The Member representing Pankshin/Kanam/Kanke Federal Constituency of Plataeu State, Hon Yusuf Gagdi, has commended the house for passing a bill to establish the Federal University of Education, Pankshin.

Hon Gadgi who gave the commendation yesterday in Abuja while reacting to the passage of the bill which scaled third reading at the House of Representatives on October 14, said the ongoing effort towards developing education in Nigeria would be boosted. 

The lawmaker, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Navy, as well as sponsor of the bill, said the university, when it came on stream, would be a training institution for the development of teachers in the country.
