The member representing Jos North/Bassa federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Haruna Maitala, has promised to complete a three-kilometre road from Jengre to Rimi village.
He also promised that two other classroom blocks each at Amo Katako Community Secondary School and Higher Islamic Science Secondary School, Jengre, would be completed soon.
Maitala said this yesterday during an inspection of the projects initiated by him in Jengre, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Speaking to journalists after the tour, Hon. Maitala reiterated his desire to fulfill his campaign promises.
“Every good leader would want to touch on the lives of his people positively. It is for this reason that I unveiled three agendas to my constituents in the course of my campaign which include Education, Empowerment and Security.
“And you can see that the facilities we inspected would surely impact on the education of our children. You have also seen the road construction going on and by the time the construction is completed, it will surely improve economic activities in the areas.’’
He called on members of his constituency to make suggestions that could help in bringing development to the area.
