Hon. Sadam Bello Sale has emerged as the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the House of Representatives seat to represent Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
In a statement issued after the primary election, which was conducted peacefully across the three LGAs, Hon. Sale expressed gratitude to Allah for the outcome and thanked party leaders, delegates, stakeholders, and supporters across the constituency for their trust and support.
“I am deeply honoured and humbled to emerge as the winner of our party’s primary election. Your trust, confidence, prayers, and sacrifices made this victory possible,” he said.
Hon. Sale also commended Hon. Abdulshahid Baffa and Hon. Abdulmalik Musa Koguna over their decision to withdraw from the contest and back his aspiration, describing it as an act of maturity, statesmanship, and support, noting that their gesture of unity would always be remembered and appreciated.

He also extended a hand of reconciliation to fellow aspirant Hon. Zakariya Jidda and his supporters, describing them as one family united by a common goal, “the development and progress of the Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency.”
“Now is the time to close ranks and work together for victory in the forthcoming general election,” he stated.
Ahead to the general election, Hon. Sadam Sale called for continued prayers, support, and cooperation from constituents.
He said the campaign ahead would require collective effort, unity, and determination to secure victory and deliver better, inclusive, and effective representation for the constituency.
Sale, who is currently the Deputy Speaker of the Gombe State House of Assembly, was earlier picked as the consensus candidate of the APC, to contest on the party’s platform to represent people of Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye at the House of Representatives.
