The House of Representatives on Tuesday called on the Federal Government to deployed more security personnel to Chibok and Damboa, Borno State, to stem the incessant Boko Haram attacks.

This followed a motion by Ahmad Usman Jaha (APC, Borno) who said there was a need to urgently reinforce security around Chibok/Damboa area of Borno State.

He said between October 30 and November 19, 2020, insurgents attacked four villages in Chibok and Damboa Local Government Areas.

The house therefore called on the Federal Government to direct the Nigeria Army to establish security around the area.
