The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have expressed satisfaction with the performance of the FCT Administration in the provision of infrastructure in the Territory.
The President of the Association, Dr. Michael Olarewaju gave the thumps up on Friday in Abuja during a courtesy visit to the FCT Permanent Secretary in his office.
Dr. Olarewaju further commended the leadership of the FCT Administration for opening up Karu General Hospital and Zuba Cottage hospital, adding that these two hospitals would ease the pressure on existing hospitals in the Territory.
He said: “The Association is pleased with the leadership of the FCTA, and especially with the FCT Minister and the Permanent Secretary, for the projects completed so far, some of which were hitherto abandoned projects, and also for the new projects. There is a visible improvement in the FCT, as a City compared to what has happened over the last few years.”
In his response, the FCT Permanent Secretary, Mr. Christian Chinyeaka Ohaa assured that the FCT Administration would continue to pursue policies and programmes that will improve health care delivery in the Territory.
