An upgraded flush to fire door being tested to show its efficacy during Sagif Ventures Limited Fire Safety Test in Abuja at the weekend
Chief Executive Officer of Sagif Ventures Limited, Mr Sam Ayadi, at the weekend called on both tenants and landlords to always use fire preventive products in their homes and offices to minimize fire outbreaks.
He stated this in Abuja during the company’s fire safety test for upgraded flush and regular doors to fire doors for the protection of lives and property in buildings. According to him, “billions of Naira have been lost by government and individuals in buildings, which is why we decided to complement the effort of the Federal Fire Service by introducing our passive fire prevention products.”
He said If residents have passive fire prevention products put in place, it would give them high level of confidence.
Speaking earlier, the Assistant Controller Fire, Federal Fire Service, Arc. Taiwo Daramola commended the company for upgrading regular doors to fire proof doors.
He said the fire service has been doing advocacy all over the country and was working with the Standards Organisation of Nigeria to know the materials imported into the country.
