The Director-General of Borno House-to-House Campaign for Atiku and Okowa 2023, Mustapha Baba Shehu, has called on supporters in the state to resist any provocation by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said the House-to-House campaign was initiated to sanitize the political atmosphere and ensure the victory of all elective positions contested by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
“This strategy would ensure victory for the Atiku/Okowa presidential and all other PDP tickets in the state,” he said.
“We are going to employ 3000 volunteers across the state, at least 10 for each ward of the state to drive this ambition,” he added.

He said the 10 volunteers would operate under a ward coordinator who would be guided and monitored by senior coordinators at the local government area level.
Shehu said the list of volunteers would be forwarded to the national secretariat of the party, to be fed into the database of its campaign organizations.
He said the volunteer will enter a household, meet the members of the household and directly persuade them to vote for Atiku/Okowa as president and vice president, and Mohammed Jajari as the governor.
He also encouraged the electorate to resist the use of security agencies to rig elections in the state.
