The  #ResumeOrResign movement has suspended their  #OurMumuDonDo protests following Tuesday’s attack on them by hoodlums at the Wuse Market in Abuja.

The group announced the suspension of further protests on Wednesday at the unity fountain, Maitama, saying they needed to re-strategise.

Members of the movement  led by Charly Boy were attacked by a mob at the Wuse market when he led his group to the market to address traders. The hoodlums who chanted “sai Baba” threw stones at him when he was about to address the crowd.

Tons of damage was done to Charly Boy’s car during the attack.

There was uproar as everyone dispersed and ran in different directions.

A number of people were injured including a journalist.
