Members of the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria in Kebbi State say they would cast their votes for President Muhammadu Buhari in the next year’s presidential election.
The National President of the association, Alhaji Aminu Goronyo, who led other executive members of the association to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi yesterday, said they had also contributed money to buy the APC nomination form for Buhari.
“The 12.2 million members of our association across Nigeria, apart from putting money together to purchase the nomination form for President Muhammadu Buhari, will also mobilise all their family members to cast their votes for the president in the election,” he said.
Goronyo commended Governor Abubakar Bagudu for his support to the association in Kebbi State and his role in improving rice production in the country as the Presidential Committee chairman on Rice and Wheat farming in Nigeria.
