It is against this backdrop that it dismaying that some Northerners would rebel against the ACF, all calling themselves Northern Elders Council, who leader, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai has been taking opposite steps to counter the ACF. ACF is not a family and friends forum and is the only recognized elders’ forum in the North for all Northerners old and young, Christians and Muslims, men and women and the leadership are people of honour, pride, proven integrity and patriotic citizens.
The ACF should lead the effort to unravel the truth behind the recent arrest of Nigeria’s CAN President’s private jet on an apparent mission to purchase arms in South Africa. Government should look into the legality and illegality procedures of arm purchase by a nation like Nigeria, money laundering, individual involvement in sensitive security issues and an Israeli and CAN participation in buying arms in a secular state.  
There is need for immediate and aggressive mobilization of Northerners integration for adequate caution and alert on our security.  Interlopers on a mission to break this country should be stopped by all means. Northern youths should set aside any religious, tribal and political affliction they may harbour and unite to fight for the emancipation of our region and nation.  We Northern youth like most other credible Nigerians believe in and reaffirm the indivisibility of Nigeria as a sovereign state.
Only irresponsible chauvinists will contemplate the breakup of the country.  When many regional blocks are coalescing together to exert more influence in the global scenario.
