Fashola, Amaechi carpet Jonathan, vow to deliver their states for Buhari

The duo of Governor of Raji Fashola of Lagos State and his counterpart from Rivers State have carpeted the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan even as they both vowed to deliver their states in the Feb. 14 presidential election.

While Gov. Fashola said the President had failed to deliver on his promises when ‎he came to campaign in 2011 especially as it affect the construction of road leading to Murtala Muhammed International Airport, the non approval of the red line rail project between Lagos to Ogun state, among others.

Gov. Rotimi Amaechi on the other hand said as the President ‎has not done anything in Lagos so he has not done in South South. He promised to deliver Rivers to Buhari in the February 14 election.

APC Lagos Rally

The entire mainbowl of Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos went into a frenzy as Master of Ceremony, Hon. Dino Melaye announced the arrival of Gen. Muhamadu Buhari and his deputy, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

The shout of “Sai Buhari, Sai Baba rent the air! Thousands who are witnessing the event are also waving their brooms. Proceeding had commenced in earnest.

The All Progresive Congress (APC) Lagos rally commenced a short while after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) completed their Rivers Rally.

The rally started with Music group Mohits and Davido performing for the supporters while Governor Ameachi and other APC cheiftain dances in.

APC Chieftain Asiwaju Tinubu addresses the crowd and promised that Buhari’s wife who he said was present will later also speak.

Earlier Today Buhari, along with his team, paid a visit to the Governor of the state, Babatunde Fashola and the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu.
