Chairman of the Chicason Group, Chief Chika Okafor assured those who have sought to own the houses that 3000 houses will be ready for use before the second quarter of next year.
He stated that out of the 10,000 housing units his company will construct 3000 houses for now, adding that the Trade Union Congress (TUC) is one of the major partners in the project.
Executive Director Chicason Group, Adike Chux said the united workers housing scheme is on plots 301 and 302 of L22 Southern Lugbe of the FCT in the phase IV FCT development.
Chux explained that the project is sponsored by Chicason Group while the developer is Rock of Ages, a subsidiary of Chicason Group.
Collaborators for the project include: Trade Union Congress, Federal Mortgage Bank Nigeria, Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company Plc, Trusts Bond Mortgage Bank  and other banks.
He added that the offtakers cut across all workers in diverse areas including the Nigeria Customs Service and ECOWAS. 
The houses are in 12 different categories. The subscribers will make equity contribution according to the referred house type.
The apartment blocks ranges from two-bedroom flats to three-bedroom flats and workers.
Contributors to pension and National Housing Fund automatically qualify to apply for the houses.
