Owen who highlighted the planned projects during his investiture ceremony at a residential hotel in Jos city centre, listed provision of treated nets and construction of standard public toilet in Ganauri, as well as donation of chairs to a selected peace centre within Jos city as some of the other projects scheduled for the indicated 2014/2015 Rotary year.
The Jos Tin-City Rotary president who charged members of the club to be dedicated to service, said that with such dedication, the club under him was determined to touch many lives, reach the unreached, and inform the uninformed. “I urge you to join me in this quest,” Owen told his fellow Rotarians.

Rotn Orisah Owen, an electrical engineer who rose to be business manager in the defunct PHCN, serving in Otukpo and Gboko (Benue State), and Bukuru and Anglo-Jos (Plateau State) before leaving the electricity establishment following the restructuring of PHCN by the Federal Government, joined the Rotary Club of Jos Tin-City in 2010.
