The Kano State branch of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) has expelled five of its members for allegedly engaging in causing confusion at the branch.
The resolution of the branch, which was signed by its secretary, Abubakar Balarabe, and made available to the Chronicle listed the expelled members as Ja’e Na Almu of Tudun Wada, Ishaq M. Ishaq and Abdullahi Gambo of Kwanar Dangora, Salisu of Chiromawa and Sabo Abdullahi.
The association said the five persons engaged themselves in illegal printing of association items, impersonation of staff, disappearing from the state secretariat, defamation of character and abuse of the constitution of the association.
