Speaking at ARECON annual general meeting 2022 in Abuja, themed ‘Off-Grid Power Generation: Key to the Industrial and Economic Growth of the Nation’, the association’s new chairman, Raphael Adidi, said his administration would build on the success of his predecessor.

“As we look forward to the future, let me assure you that the very goal that is top on the agenda of our priorities is to protect the interests of us all as contractors in all Power Agencies.
“More than ever before, we will expand our partnership with the Nigerian government and other stakeholders in the Energy Industry,” he said.
The outgoing chairman of the association, Lamideeen Yussuf, said under his leadership, ARECON secured collaboration with the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency to sanitising the power energy sector and train qualified electrical engineers across the nation.
