Rural Homes Limited is building some of the best warehouses in terms of size and location in its new Karmo market, the chairman of the company, Malam Musa Aliyu Dangoggo, has said.
Speaking recently when the management team of Media Trust Limited, publishers of the Daily Trust titles paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja, Malam Dangoggo said Karmo market has the best facilities which distinguished it from other markets in the capital city.
He told the visitors that the idea of rural markets by the company is to boost the economy of rural dwellers and expand business activities in the city.
He said some of the facilities at Karmo market included good road network, fire service, banks, farmers market, textile market, administrative block and central electricity management system and modern drainage facility.
He explained that the company will do more of such markets in collaboration with the FCT administration in order to give more residents the opportunity to improve the economy of the FCT.
The warehouses are in two sizes, 100sq meters and 200sq meters with 9 and 8.5 meters height respectively.
He said the company is building the same type of market in Lagos. He also assured on doing more low cost houses in order to make home ownership for both high and middle income earners easier.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Operating Officer, MTL, Abhay Desai, said his visit was to commend Rural Homes’ management for its many interventions in the real estate sector.
