The envoy lauded Nigeria’s contributions to global peace keeping missions and promised to strengthen bilateral relations between both countries.
“I came to this great country to look for a new horizon to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia because we look at Nigeria as a key country in Africa and one of the big countries that honestly play key peace keeping role in the world and in the international community by participating in a key number of peace keeping missions in the world,” Rajeh said.
He added that Nigeria’s effort in that regard shows how committed it is to promotion and enhancement of stability in the world.
He noted that though the relationship between the two countries is cordial, it is not that strong, and he is not happy about that.
“As a big country in the region we can collaborate more and I am here to ensure that we further develop our relations to a strategic level in all areas. Our relations would be further strengthened in all sectors- economic, political, diplomatic,” he said.
