The South West executive of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has promised to mobilise between 8 to 10 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the 2027 general elections.

Chairman, South West APC Zonal executive, Dr Isaac Kekemeke, who gave the pledge at a press conference held in Ado-Ekiti after the first meeting in Ekiti State after their inauguration held in Lagos.

“We are proud of the achievements of Mr. President. We will return him with overwhelming votes. He has tried to stabilize the economy, massive roads across the regions, no strike in the universities in the last three years”.

The APC executives also called on Ekiti residents to massively support and return Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, for a second term at the June 20 gubernational election.

Dr. Kekemeke, condemned the comments made by the Governor of Oyo State, Mr. Seyi Makinde, on “Operation wetie”, describing such statement as reckless and uncalled for.

He said Governor Makinde, is on his own as his statement does not represent the views of the people in the South West.
