Some staff of Berger Paints Plc on Wednesday protested what they termed as “unwholesome” treatment meted out to those who were recently disengaged by the company.
They accused the company of laying-off a good number of its workers without adequate compensation.

The protesting workers besieged the company’s vicinity located at Oba Akran area of the Ikeja Industrial Estate in Lagos.
One of the protesters who craved animosity said most of the workers sacked were not paid their gratuities and other entitlements before their disengagement.
Efforts to reach the company’s management for its reaction wasn’t successful as security men barred people from entering the company’s premises.
