The 30-year-old Kaduna native netted the decisive goal in the 72nd minute to end Valencia’s almost seven years wait for a win at San Mames stadium.
Sadiq put the finishing touch to a counter attack from an Athletic Bilbao corner kick, showing good off-the-ball movement to attack a cross with an emphatic header for 1-0.
