Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar has facilitated with Muslim faithfuls across the country on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The governor in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Ali M. Ali, urged Muslims to reflect and learn from the lessons of animal sacrifice observed during their celebrations in order to increase their perseverance.
According to the statement, Governor Abubakar had earlier ordered for the payment of August Salaries ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir so that civil servants and their dependents can celebrate the Sallah in comfort.
He said the governor approved the payment of before he departed for Hajj, adding that the payment was effected at the weekend.
He therefore called on the workers to re-dedicate themselve to duty to ensure rapid development of the state.
He noted that it is only a motivated civil service that will help the government deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
Governor Abubakar prayed for the safe return of Nigerian and Bauchi State pilgrims from Hajj.
