The Member House of Representatives, representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, Micah Jiba has urged residents to pray for Nigeria’s unity as they celebrate Eid el-Kabir.
The lawmaker who made this known when some Muslim visited him at his Damagaza residence yesterday said, residents should use the period to pray for peace and unity adding that such prayers would assist President Muhammadu Buhari in tackling security challenges in the some parts of the country.
The House of Representatives member said that Sallah period is a time for sober reflection and sacrifice in the service of the motherland.
“We can achieve peaceful coexistence when we all embrace the spirit of sacrifice, tolerance and oneness, in doing this the blessings of Allah will automatically fill our lives with happiness and open all the door of success now and always.
“Against all challenges, let’s all Nigerians rally to support the leadership of the National Assembly for a greater Nigeria at the 9th Assembly that will guarantee peace and tranquillity in our land.
He said there were indications that our collective prayers are already yielding good success at resolving security problems.
