Sokoto state police command says adequate security arrangements are in place to ensure peaceful Eid celebrations.

Police Public Relations Officer Sokoto command, Ibrahim Abaras, said, “Our men are on ground at strategic locations to ensure adequate security in the state.”

Personnel have deployed at the   Sultan Place, Eid praying ground and Governor’s House among others.

 “We are warning the parents not give small children vehicle or motorcycle to ride,” he cautioned.
