The exhibition journeys through life
Nigerian creative artist, and visual designer, Hafsat Sani Sami, is set to hold a solo exhibition ‘Imagining A Beautiful Life’ beginning today at the Thought Pyramid Art Centre, Abuja.
Sami who is also the CEO and the creative director of Kwevve Textiles is featuring works which journey through life’s various chapters, a documentation of the battles between self and society, light and dark, positive and negative, and the conscious effort to constantly create a better life irrespective of current predicaments
According to the artist, there is no doubt creative imagination is the only state of mind that is free from limitations and devoid of impossibilities.
She said in a statement that, “The mind is also a strong desire through which power can only be harnessed through imagination and the sheer will bring those thoughts to life.”
The statement said, “The theme of the exhibition ‘Imaginining a beautiful life’ gives the insight of life entirely, as it deals with various artists in numerous blows, killing their beliefs through self, thereby imprisoning their creative minds in the confinements of negativity and doubt, which births a long line of negative psychological impact.”
