The singer has taken up the responsibility to train a young man who is affected by the neuro-developmental disorder. The beneficiary, Abiodun Olumide Kupe a Lagos state indigene recently got admission to study Business Administration at Lagos State Polytechnic.
A representative from Sammie Okposo Hope Initiative in a press release said the gesture was the first among other numerous ways SOHI has been affecting the lives of the people and bringing positive change to the society and that they have no plans to desist from doing such.
The founder of SOHI, Sammie Okposo recently was also involved in the ‘Walk for The Blind’ to raise funds in buying the White Canes. He was also on hand to assist the people displaced by flood in Delta State with relief items such as food stuffs, clothing and medical supplies. Sammie is also actively involved with the World Refuge Day.
Okposo who recently released the video for his latest single, ‘No Wahala, Only Halleluyah’, will soon embark on a tour of South Africa, Turkey, London and America starting from July 10th, 2014.
