A growing wave of support is building around Kayode Arewa Sanni following his declaration to contest for a seat in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, with party stakeholders and community leaders backing his candidacy ahead of the primaries.

Sanni, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), formally entered the race amid calls for more grassroots-focused and accountable representation at the state legislature.

Supporters described his emergence as a response to public demand for leadership that is both accessible and community-driven.

“His decision to step forward reflects the desire of the people for purposeful leadership and inclusive governance at the legislative level,” a party stakeholder said.

Momentum around his candidacy was further reinforced during a strategic engagement with the Elekole-in-Council, where Sanni, alongside ADC members, hosted governorship aspirant Dare Bejide and his deputy campaign chief, Ayodeji Babatola.

The meeting was seen as a signal of growing internal alignment within the party ahead of upcoming political contests.

Stakeholders at the gathering commended Sanni’s track record, pointing to his grassroots connection and responsiveness to community concerns.
