Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has said that protests  following his appointment as the Emir of kano did not emanate from the Kano royal family as the family is united.

 The former CBN governor, who said this after being presented with letter of appointment as the Emir of Kano by Governor Rabiu Musa Kwanwaso of Kano state, said his emergence as the emir of kano is God’s will.
