I am appealing to well-meaning Kanawan Dabo to come out en mass on the day that Emir Sanusi will appear before the Kano state House of Assembly. Kano must stand still.
If we really love Kano, then we must unite ourselves against the forces of darkness that are trying to destroy our traditional institution. We must bury our differences in order to defeat our common ENEMIES. If Ganduje dethrone Sanusi and install Abdullahi Abbas as widely rumoured, what will happen when Ganduje leaves office?
However, I have no problem if some of us disagree with Emir of Kano on his social reforms but the bitter truth is that Kano state house of assembly is only pursuing selfish agenda. We must resist this madness.
Similarly, I have no problem if the state assembly made genuine effort to prosecute not PERSECUTE the Emir but am afraid, they are not reliable and realistic.
Moreover, it is an open secret that the members of the assembly are not ‘investigating’ our respected Emir because of Allah or the state but they are sponsored by enemies of TALAKAWA. Person living in glass house should not throw stone. I am sure that the Emir is cleaner than those corrupt LEGISlooters calling for his head.
In addition to that, there are so many issues that require the intervention of our state assembly but they remain mute. People are hungry, can’t go school, can’t access good health care service and even drinking water is a problem. Summoning Emir Sanusi is a clear misplacement of priorities and a deliberate attempt to distract our already distracted and confused government.
To my father and respected elder, Governor Ganduje, I am appealing to him to sheath his sword in the best interest of Kano state and its historic emirate. It’s a political suicide for Ganduje to even think of dethroning Emir of Kano.
As young men, history will not be fair to us if we fold our arms and allow selfish & greedy politicians to destroy our traditional institution. We must rise above our differences and save our emirate.
Is time for us to send a powerful signal to those at the corridors of power that we can no longer tolerate nonsense. Enough is enough. #IstandWithEmirSanusi
