After winning the 2014 Dala Hardcourt in Kano, the youngster retained her position as the number one female tennis player in the country.
Adegoke who spoke to SHOT! on his daughter’s preparations for this year’s tournaments said they are looking forward to the CBN Governor’s Cup and another championship in Kaduna.
He said his daughter is training hard and he expects her to give a good account of herself in all competitions in order to retain her enviable position.
“We have two tournaments lined up and we are working towards them. The CBN tournament is coming up on the 14th of May and another one is for the second week of June in Kaduna.
 “She ended last year as number one after winning the Dala Hardcourt Kano and we are working hard to see that she remains on top.
“The unfortunate thing is that there are no tournaments to keep her busy. After the Kano championship last year, nothing has happened again”.
Adegoke also hinted that he is working hard to see her daughter go to further her education and career in the United States of America.
“We are trying to see if she can go to school in the USA where she will have access to better facilities, coaching and tournaments.
“There is nothing concrete yet but things are looking up and I believe by the grace of God, we shall realise our ambition of sending her to the US.
“It will be a big boost for her career, if she will go to further her education in the USA,” he said.
