Saudi-German hospital partners swift air ambulance on affordable healthcare

The Saudi-German Hospital based in Madinah, Saudi Arabia is partnering Swift Air Ambulance Service Limited based in Abuja to offer affordable healthcare services to Nigerians and intending pilgrims to the holy land.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Hospital, Dr Ramez Elawady stated this yesterday when he and the President/CEO of Swift Air Ambulance Services Limited, AbdulAzeez Yinka Oniyangi visited the Headquarters of Media Trust, Publisher of Daily Trust titles in Abuja.

Dr Elawady who stressed that this was not his first visit to the country noted that their visit to Nigeria was necessitated because most of their patients were Nigerians who come during umrah and hajj.

He said the hospital was giving  priority to Nigerians and focusing on how to improve the healthcares services provided to the Nigerian patients.

Dr Ramez said the Saudi German Hospital was also introducing the international visiting professor programme in partnership with private sector healthcare providers in the country for Nigerians who cannot afford to travel outside for medical care.

The President/CEO of Swift Air Ambulance Services Limited, AbdulAzeez Yinka Oniyangi who is the Nigerian contact partner said the hospital recognized the fact that Nigerian pilgrims come round a lot for pilgrimage.

“They think the Nigerian people deserve the best at all times and because of that, they also decided to create a promotional programme for the upcoming umrah for the Nigerian populace to benefit,” he said.
