The selected team from the northern part of the country defeated their southern counterpart by 86-73 in an entertaining encounter.
The Savannah Conference team took the game to their opponent from the blast of the whistle and maintained the lead to the final minute.
Earlier, the 3-point shooting competition was won by Timothy Terry of Yelwa Hawks with 34 points while Oladipupo Osunubi of Dodan Warriors took the position with 20 points.
In the Slam Dunk competition, Godwin Ikonsul of Dodan Warrior defeated others to earn the highest points of 95. Innocent Dinshal of Kano Pillars and Bright Akhuete of Bauchi Nets took the second and third positions with 79 and 76 points respectively.
Abubakar Usman of Kano Pillars was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the game.
Speaking to journalist at the occasion, the Chairman, Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), Engineer Sani Ndanusa praised the efforts of the Federation in developing the game.
He noted that the standard of the game has improved in the country drastically under the present leadership.
Also, the Chief Executive Officer of DStv MultiChoice Company, Mr. Joseph Hundah said his organisation was determined to continue its contribution to the development of basketball in Nigeria.
He noted that the company sponsored the event because it believed it would help raise the standard of the game in the country while at the same time helping to influence the younger ones to participate in the game.
The President of Nigeria Basketball Coaches Association, Coach Sani Ahmed told journalists after the game that the standard of play was high, adding that the players in the league were continuously improving.
