The deal to sign the player was completed on Thursday in Jalingo and he is been expected to join the team immediately as they put finishing touches to their preparation ahead of the 2013/2014 season.
Chairman of FC Taraba, Tijani Babangida expressed happiness with the return of the player who is well experienced in the Nigeria Premier League.
The former international said he expects the player to bring his wealth of experience to bear as they compete in the topflight of the Nigerian league for the first time.
Babaginda also said after the team’s last two friendly matches which saw it losing 0-1 to Lobi Stars of Markudi, and 1-2 to Rangers of Enugu, it became imperative to bring in more players to fortify the team in key areas.
“We are happy we were able to bring back Saviour Fidelis from Enyimba. He is an experienced striker who will add to the quality of the team.
“I said that the purpose of the friendly matches was not to win but to identify the areas we needed to work on before the league commences. We hope to bring in more players before the season begins”, he said.
FC Taraba is billed to take on Nasarawa United at home in the first match of the 2013/14 Globalcom league season, and TJ as he is fondly called says they are looking forward to the match.
