He said already he has gotten some briefing from the officials of the National Sports Commission, NSC, but he is not going to stop at that as very soon, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, will step forward to tell him what their plans are for the World Cup.

The minister explained that the Swede will only appear before him after he has heard from officials of the Nigeria Football Federation.

“I have discussed with the DG of the NSC to invite the Nigeria Football Federation to appear before me on Tuesday to come and give me a comprehensive plan of action. I want to know what they are planning in terms of logistics, accommodation, security and every other necessary detail. It is after my meeting with them that I will talk to Mr. Acting President on our preparations.

“I will also call the Technical Adviser to come and tell me his own plan for the World Cup.  He will tell me how he hopes to actualize the wishes and aspirations of Nigerians in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
