A 20-year -old scavenger, Mudashiru Jamilu, was on Tuesday, charged with the theft of electrical wires valued at N850,000 before an Iyaganku magistrates’ court in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The prosecutor, Insp Sikiru Opaleye, alleged that the defendant conspired with another person (at large) between December 1 and 12, and stole conduit electrical wires valued at N850,000 belonging to one Mr Adebayo Oseni contrary to Sections 390 and 516 of the Criminal Law of Oyo State 2000.
The Magistrate, Mrs Olabisi Ogunkanmi, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N400,000, with two sureties in like sum, and adjourned the case to March 17, 2026. (NAN).
