The proprietor of Green Herald Academy, Kuje, Abuja has called on parents and guardians to pay attention to issues of child abuse.

Micheal Ehinlaye, the proprietor, made the call at the school’s annual graduation ceremony yesterday.

The ceremony, which was organized to celebrate the students’ performance in the last academic session was also used as an avenue to sensitise parents and the general public on child abuse.

The proprietor of the school, also commended the parents for their efforts in ensuring their wards had quality education, encouraging them to look into issues of child abuse as there was a high prevalence of such cases in the country recently.

The event also celebrated kids who had done well in the last academic session by presenting them with gifts and awards which was done to encourage them to continue to do good work.
