Dans Adokie, an official of the National Sports Commission (NSC), said this while briefing newsmen on Thursday in Enugu.
He said that the Games had been scheduled for between, Nov. 22 and Nov. 27 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
He said the event, which would be for men and women, would feature sports like athletics, football, badminton, Volleyball and table tennis.
Adokie, the Zonal Coordinator of NSC, whose organisation was bankrolling the event, said there would be a trophy for the overall winners, the second and third placed teams.
“This is being organised by the South East Zone III, Enugu. And it is a yearly affair where all the nursing and midwifery schools within the South East – particularly in Anambra, Ebonyi and Enugu states are participating.
“This year’s event is a unique one because we have about two or three pharmaceutical companies involved; supporting the event. We have Juhel, Neimeth and Archy; all of them are pharmaceutical companies.”
Adokiye disclosed that the athletes that performed well would be selected to represent the zone at the national level in future competitions.
