Science Media Award: NAS calls for entries

The Nigerian Academy of Science (NAS) has called on Nigerian journalists to send in entries for this year’s Science Media Award which is to hold in May. 

 Now in its 7th edition, the NAS science award seeks to promote excellence in science and science-related journalism. 

‘’Entries are therefore invited for the NAS Science Media Award for outstanding science reporting.  The award is open to all print and broadcast journalists who published science or science-related stories (health, environment etc.) in the previous year. The top prize consists of a plaque, a tablet computer and N200,000 each for print and broadcast categories. The runner-up in each category wins a tablet computer and N50,000’’, a statement from NAS said.
